Hibbing Public Schools Community Ed

Intermezzo Class for Intermediate Players: Monday's 5:30-6:30pm  

Class is geared for students who have played at least one year and know how to hold the bow & instrument, have learned some simple songs by ear or by reading, can identify notes on the staff, know their notes in first position on the fingerboard, can play a D major scale, and want to play with a group of string players. Students will continue learning in the Essential Elements for Strings lesson book, the Suzuki book, and pieces for the group to play together.  We will be getting ready to perform in the concert on Monday, April 29th  

In addition to registering here for this class, students are required to enroll and participate in weekly lessons ($20/lesson) through Crescendo at https://cyo.mymusicstaff.com/Sept-April-New-Studen... Students will need to register for this class again in January to participate for the remainder of the year. 

All practices will be held at the ** New location ** @ Crescendo Center 214 E Howard Street, Hibbing

There will be no class on: Feb 17th & April 21st 

Concert will be Monday, April 28th @ the Hibbing High School Auditorium

Students 8th - 12th grade should register through the Activities Office for the Winter / Spring session.
